MATRIX PATH OF NEO PC VS PS3 PS4
When Sony markets PS Now subscription as BC or rereleases the same PS2 games digitally on PS4 that I already own on PS3, it’s really disgusting from a longtime customer perspective. So basically entire collection is dead thanks to lack of BC. I’ve already had 2 PS3 die and am in no mood to buy another anytime soon. Thanks to lack of BC, I can’t play them on my PS4. PS3 was my only console during the previous gen and I have nearly 500 games for it(200 physical). I hope with Nintendo NX, they maintain their policy on free MP and BC. Splatoon, Mario Kart8, Super Smash Bros). Meanwhile Nintendo has shown during Wii U gen that it’s gotten much better when it comes to online multiplayer(e.g. Over the duration of the console generation paid MP effectively doubles the upfront console purchase cost. It’s a significant cost saving for consumer.

But the fact is that they aren’t and that’s superb. I play Smash Bros from time to time as well, but Nintendo practices are not something I would even slightly jump for joy You are absolutely correct that given a chance Nintendo may like to charge for MP. I own both a Wii U and a New 3DS, I really enjoy the Legend of Zelda series and Pokemon. If they do you will be expected to pay $19.99 probably for no new features like the Wii downloadable versions playable on Wii U. Instead it is still closure to VC, but Wii U does not let you play GameCube games even as downloadables at this time. The only benefit they have with Wii U is it can play Wii games, but even that is not the same as PS4 playing PS2. With VC going from Wii to 3DS you better rebuy those games. 3DS transfers are a complete pain as they need to verify that you actually removed your account from a previous handheld if you want to transfer store items.

If you put your Nintendo account on a Wii U that’s it. They are the last to reduce prices on any title as far as that even goes, but that is just a small part of the problem. Has the worst policies of all the companies and have been the meanest to fans overall.
